GHS ANNUAL PICNIC
The Grandview High School Annual Picnic is always
held on the 2nd Saturday of August at Westside Park, Grandview, Washington.
Registration is at 10:00 am. The no host lunch (bring your own) will be at
noon. Anyone that worked in the Grandview School District or attended school at
anytime of their lives and their families are welcome to attend.
If you wish to join the Alumni Association, dues are $5.00 annually or $50.00
for a lifetime membership. Proceeds from the dues go to scholarships awarded
each spring to GHS students or alumni. Sign up at the picnic or send a check
made out to the Grandview Alumni Assoc. to Karma Frank, 2204 Hill Dr.

HEADS UP
If your class plans on taking an
all student class picture or individual pictures at your reunion. It is
suggested, that you contact the professional of your choice well in advance of
the planned event. Photographers may not be available on short notice as they
take bookings from weddings, etc. as much as a year ahead.
If your class decides to go the economy route. Take your own group
picture and then have copies made the desired size.
Also, keep in mind the newspaper photographer cannot be counted on
to show up at your reunion. Other classes are taking their own group picture
along with the names of those present down to the newspaper office for
publication.
EVENTS FOR 2009
Grandview Classes of 1952, 1953, 1954, 1955, and 1956:
The Grandview Class of ’54 (55 and Alive) is holding a class reunion September 11th and 12, 2009. Gene Kulesza, Master of Ceremonies for the Saturday night gathering of all five classes implores your help. He needs your current picture with spouse, friend or family included. He will put them together along with other information on a DVD, which you can purchase for a nominal fee.
Also any stories revolving around good old Grandview High are needed. If you don’t want your name used, tell him to make them anonymous. It doesn’t matter if stories are funny or sad; all are us, “The Greyhounds of Grandview.” Don’t delay, send stories and pictures to Gene Kulesza by email or snail mail:
